The Idea

Music, Art & Martial Arts, One Piece

The collaboration between Linkin Park and Jasper Wong grew from a long-standing friendship and ongoing conversations between Mr. Hahn and Jasper. From those conversations came an idea: a Linkin Park kimono designed for training jiu jitsu, that also lives beyond the mat, bridging music, art, and martial arts in a single piece that feels authentic to all three worlds.

The kimono releases within Phantom Label, Linkin Park’s premium, fashion-forward line. It is a limited, special-edition piece that reflects the band’s creative legacy while pushing into new territory through form, function, and collaboration.

The Concept

The Bomber Jacket, Reimagined

The design reinterprets an iconic American garment, the MA-1 bomber with its sage-green shell and signature orange lining, translating it into the structure and function of a jiu jitsu kimono.

Phantom Label assets layer through the garment as custom patches, alongside original graphics inspired by rock and punk jackets, where personal expression builds through an accumulation of imagery over time. The result feels lived-in, expressive, and deeply personal: Americana, Japanese craftsmanship, rock attitude, and martial arts tradition in one garment.

Craftsmanship

Finished By Hand, One At A Time

Every kimono is individually embroidered and patch-finished by hand. Every patch is placed by hand, every graphic stitched into the cloth rather than printed onto it. That hand-work is the constraint, and the reason only 150 exist.

The Artwork

Original Graphics by Jasper Wong

Every patch carries its own story. Fourteen original illustrations drawn for this collaboration, merging Linkin Park imagery with Jasper’s pop-surreal visual language.
