Position is not a place where movement stops. It is a moment within movement.

Every hold, guard, pass, idea, thought, event, or description is not a fixed structure but a temporary arrangement of forces. What appears stable is already changing. Control is not the freezing of motion, but the ability to perceive the flows and to guide the flows.

Grappling is not a collection of positions. It’s the continuous production of positions from movement.

We do not seek to arrive somewhere and remain there. We learn to move through forms as they emerge and dissolve.

In this way, the art and life are nomadic.
There is no final ground to occupy, no permanent territory to defend. We advance by following lines of motion—creating openings, shifting structure, redirecting forces.

Position is not the end of movement. It is movement made briefly visible.
